With Megaman 10 still on its way to PSN another game is on its way. Part of a PSN Classic Rockman Complete Works 3 is coming to the Japanese PSN store. The PSN release will feature improved menus, hints from Proto Man, a boss rush, a Hard Mode, and the usual artwork collection. This will be available for purchase this April, to be listed under PSOne Classics, likely pointing to the PSOne release in 1999 under the Rockman Complete Works line.
Well after seeing Japan about to get Rockman Zero Collection many asked if the North American release is possible, Capcom ask if this what people wanted. Many said Yes and from there Capcom heard us and has officially announced Megaman Zero Collection for the DS.
Lets just hope this release doesn't have anything taken off from the Japanese release.
Sadly because of this the chances of Rockman Operate Shooting Star being released in North America are getting slimer.
There was a web stream going on for Rockman's Birthday, personally I was there it was quite fun.
Some main points of the live stream
- Inafune says moving into 3d once again would be tough, because 2d and 3d Mega Man fans would have different expectations, and there are some elements of Mega Man in the 2d realm that just wouldn't translate to 3d.
- Inafune would love to make a new entry in the X series, but he says he happens to be very busy. Before X9 were to happen, Inafune would like to do something completely different with Mega Man.
- Inafune says 8-bit is where Mega Man was born, and he hasn't done everything he wants to with 8-bit Mega Man. As far as a Mega Man series entry that is 16-bit in style, he'll have to see where the series leads him.
- Inafune likes the idea of a Mega Man game with hand-drawn graphics (Muramasa), but he doesn't want to just imitate that idea.
- Inafune says Mega Man Powered Up 2 has a strong possibility of happening.
- Apperently one of the directors of Megaman 10 did so bad that he is now known as Fail Man
- A Cute Japanese Girl announced 2 figures that are being sold in the US and was being somewhat harassed by the english and japanese announcers talking on the stream.
- The creator of Gigamix and Megamix series is working on what seems to be a new book.
- The Japanese will be able to play a demo of Rockman 10 in this one convention thats going to be running in Japan
- Inafune knifed Cakeman.
- Apparently a E Tank Ice Cream truck seems to giveaway some E Tank boxes apparently some came with a Megaman 10 T-Shirt
- Apparently I invented Rage Man ^^ (I said it when he was talking about the Megaman Wall)
Some good news and some bad news, Lets start with the bad news to get things off our chest. The bad news is that the PSD section is gone sadly I can upload rendered PNGs to the gallery if people wanted them badly but sadly that section is gone for certain reasons.
Now the good news, I've opened up the music section to the public meaning you don't have to register now to view the soundtracks, sadly its quite messy in there I'm trying to think of a way to keep it nice and tidy but I can't think of one.
This gave me quite a laff. What I'm guessing Capcom actually did in during development of Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star could be their Anti-Piracy Protection.
To anyone that has try playing this on a flashcart (Only flashcart users get the fun of doing this.), it seems to be that this is the first Rockman/Megaman game for the DS that has an Anti-piracy protection. (Seems Capcom knows of EXE Hackers, Since I doubt all those who post hacked videos actually own the game.) Well seems Capcom has sent Viruses to fight the pirates/hackers (literally). It seems right after the game's tutorial and optional fight with Gutsman, when you try to Jack In to your home PC to help Yai with that lost program, thats when the Anti-Piracy kicks in it basicly doesn't let you move at all. If you move even a pixel you'll fight a virus its basically an endless battle against viruses. Here's a video of it,
It seems while those who ordered Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star are going to have to wait a while till there order comes, but for those lucky people living in Japan it seems that some stores have started selling this game 1 day before its official release. (Japanese Release Date:11/12/09, Which would be 11/11/09 to those that live in North America)
Currently Youtube User, namazutei, Has posted a video of him unboxing Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star.
Most of the forums are back and working sadly I couldn't import anything back from the old forums but I got everything back to how it was. Few noticeable things would be that there's new mods that are in place and some that got taken away but right now the mods are being tweaked so I would stay away from them but the forums should be safe to post now. Again Sorry ;.;
Sorry it seems we're had some problems with updating the forums I've reverted back to 1.1.10 so that we don't have any problems. Right now I'm getting everything back to normal sadly it seems that I can't import the posts and old registered members sadly your gonna have to re-register but please wait till the updates are all done. I'll re-post when were done updating.
